KASUR (Staff Reporter): A notorious outlaw was killed alleged by his own accomplices near Maloki Drain in the Raja Jang Police precincts here the other day.

According to Kasur DPO Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, notorious outlaw Gulzar alias Dang Shah was killed by his accomplices who fled the scene after crossfire with the police. According to the DPO, the Saddr Police personnel attempted to stop four suspects riding two motorcycles on Sahari Road. But the suspects resorted to indiscriminate firing and fled away. The policemen started chasing the fleeing suspects and also alerted police of other stations by airing alarms through radio. In the meanwhile, the Raja Jang Police spotted the criminals near Maloki Drain. However, on seeing the police party, the outlaws started firing by taking positions. The police retaliated and a shootout erupted. When crossfire subsided, the police fund an accused, later identified as Gulzar alias Dang Shah, in injured condition. The police shifted the injured to hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on the way. The police recovered a pistol and a motorcycle from the dead accused. The police said that accused was killed by his three accomplices who managed to escape under the cover of darkness.According to eh DPO, Dang Shah had been involved in more than 12 cases of robbery, dacoity, robbery and murder. The police have started search for the fleeing accused.

State Minster for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar stated while talking to newsmen in Jalalpur Bhattian here on Thursday. She said that practical measures are being taken to provide cheap and standardised medicines to the masses. She said that the entire nation is supporting the government and Pakistan Army and expressed her hope that the National Action Plan would be a catalyst in weeding out terrorism from the country once and for all.

Replying to a question, Saira Tarar expressed her satisfaction over the performance of the Health Ministry, saying that Health Card facility would be extended to all the districts across the country to provide free of cost treatment to the poor people gradually.

TAX CULTURE: Deputy Commissioner Inland Revenue Hafizabad Faiza Bashir has stressed the need for tax culture and called upon the traders to file their income tax returns voluntarily under the Tax Amnesty Scheme 2015.
