According to diplomatic sources, Miliband is rushing to Pakistan to help defuse tensions between Pakistan and India over recent irresponsible statements given by Indian Army Chief. He is likely to take Pakistani authorities into confidence over British visa delay to Pakistanis. The sources disclosed that Miliband would meet Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani during his visit and exchange views with them on several issues including political situation in Pakistan. The sources revealed that talks between Miliband and Pakistani leaders would focus on Pak-India tensions and war on terror. The sources from British High Commission informed that a new British High Commissioner would take charge during January.
