Five students injured in Turbat blast

QUETTA - At least six people including five students were wounded in a remote controlled explosion in Turbat town of Balochistan on Tuesday. According to sources, a school bus of Frontier Corps carrying more than three dozens students was passing infront of Atta Shahad Degree College Turbat when an explosive device was planted by unidentified people along roadside exploded as soon as the vehicle passed by the area. As a result, five students identified as Kamil, Zoheb, Haroon, Zeeshan, Kamir and a security incharge Hameed received injuries in the blast. The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment where the condition of an injured is stated to be serious. The injured students are under the age of 8 to 12. 'It was a remote controlled blast that wounded five students while condition of an injured is serious, FC spokesperson Murtaza Baig told TheNation. Sources said that the blast was carried out through a remote controlled device that badly damaged the vehicle.
