LAHORE Speakers at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Tuesday said the future of the country was bright and the teachers should play their part actively in nation building. Addressing the Ideological Training Workshop of teachers, they felt the need of a planned movement to inform the youth about Pakistan Ideology. Former vice-chancellor Bahaud Din Zakria University Dr Ashiq Muhammad Khan Durrani, Prof Dr Sarfraz Mirza, Prof Muzaffar Mirza, NPT Secretary Shahid Rasheed were the speakers. Nazria Pakistan Trust and Punjab Education Department jointly organised the workshop. Dr Ashiq said the country was bestowed with enormous natural resources and now this was our duty to utilise these resources. He said the teachers should train the students in a way that the youth could better serve the country in future and make Pakistan prosper and developed, he added. The former VC expressed dissatisfaction over the situation of what he said the teachers were not being given due respect in the society. The speakers informed them about the Pakistan Movement and Ideology.
