No letter will be written for reopening of Swiss cases: PPP Core Committee

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided not to write letter to the Swiss government for reopening of cases against President Zardari. The decision was taken during a meeting of PPP Core Committee jointly chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani held here at the Presidency on Thursday. Sources said that PPP leader Babar Awan briefed the meeting over legal aspects of Supreme Court verdict regarding NRO. The Core Committee noted that since the President enjoys the constitutional immunity, no one needs to seek any explanation on the issue. It is to mention here that the Supreme Court has given last opportunity to the government to fully implement its orders on NRO case.
