Pakistan Railways on Thursday again cancelled the trains' operation owing to shortages of diesel.

According to Railway sources, the branch lines trains have been suspended as the crisis worsened due to shortage of diesel.

Jaffar Express from Quetta to Rawalpindi reached after a nine-hour delay at Multan Railway Station while Hazara Express from Karachi to Havelian was late by five hours.

Awami Express from Peshawar to Karachi was delayed by four hours and Tezgam Express from Rawalpindi to Karachi was late by two hours. The passengers expressed serious concern over the plight of Railways which has disturbed their travelling schedule and added more problems for them.
