Hearing of suo moto notice against Data Darbar attack adjourned till July 9

Chief Justice of Lahore High Court (LHC), Khawaja Muhammad Sharif has adjourned the hearing of suo moto notice against suicide Data Darbar attack till July 9 and summoned inquiry report into the attack in next hearing. Hearing the suo moto notice of Data Darbar Attack, CJ LHC directed CCPO Lahore to ensure that action would not be taken against any innocent. In his remarks, CJ LHC said that if Black Water is involved in the attacks, then inquiry to be conducted from that perceptive. Justice Khawaja Sharif said that he would himself monitor the process of the inquiry. CCPO Lahore, Aslam Tareen who appeared in the court admitted police incompetence for failing to avert the attack. Meanwhile, IG Punjab Tariq Salim Dogar has suspended DSP, SHO and two head constables on negligence. According to a private TV channel, IG Punjab suspended DSP Ahmed Nawaz Shah, SHO Lower Mall Muhammad Aslam and two head constables.
