LAHORE (APP) - Punjab University teachers on Sunday continued to demand immediate removal of Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal from the position of dean of Institute of Education and Research, who possesses third division. The teachers alleged that it was for the first time in the history of the prestigious Punjab University since its establishment in October 1882 that a teacher holding third division in his Bachelors of Science (BSc) degree has allegedly been appointed dean in violation of the rules and regulations. Other teachers ignored for the job were more qualified having a better academic background than him. But they were not considered for appointment, they added.
