Roadside bomb kills two in Kohat

PESHAWAR Two persons were killed while five others got injured when a bomb planted on a roadside went off at Ibrahim Khel in Kohat on Sunday. According to the details, the remote control bomb, which was planted on the roadside in Ibrahim Khel village in FR Jawaki locality of Kohat, blasted while killing two persons identified as Shah Wali and Nasir, while left five others as injured. The bomb hit a vehicle on the road and all the dead and injured persons were embarking it. According to the officials of bomb disposal squad, the remote control bomb weighed 10 kg. The injured persons were rushed to the CMH Kohat for the treatment where the condition of the two injured persons was said to be critical and they were later shifted to Peshawar, said the hospital sources. The political administration and security forces cordoned off the area and started search operation in the region.
