The commission formed to probe May 2 US raid in Abbottabad that led to killing of Osama bin Laden, held maiden meeting here on Tuesday. The meeting headed by Supreme Court Judge, Justice Javed Iqbal and attended by other members Lt Gen (retd) Nadeem Ahmed, former inspector general of police Abbas Khan and former ambassador Ashraf Jehangir Qazi while Cabinet Division Secretary Narigs Sethi was also present as secretary of the commision. The commission decided that it would visit the Abbottabad if needed. The commission also decided that the family members of Osama bin Laden would be interviewed, therefore they should not be allowed to leave the country. According to the sources, the first formal meeting of the commission has been summoned on July 11.
