OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE The Inspector general of Police Punjab (IGP) Javed Iqbal has ordered the police to launch massive crackdown on the criminals involved in kidney trade across the Punjab. According to the officials, the IGP issued these directives following the police unearthed a gang involved in kidney selling in North Cantonment area of Lahore. The IGP also directed the police to ensure joint raids along with the concerned magistrates in order to nab the culprits involved in businesses. Javed Iqbal also warned the officers that any kind of negligence in this regard would not be tolerated. Meanwhile, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hasan has condemned police firing on citizens at Mianwali protesting against loadshedding, resulting in three deaths and injuries to many others.In a statement issued here on Monday, he said that loadshedding for 18 hours a day had crippled industry and trade and made life of people miserable.
