BUREWALA - A labourer was shot dead by unknown assailants in Chak 487/EB here Sunday morning. Bashir Ahmad alias Teddi, a resident of Chak 487/EB was returning home from fields where he came across three unidentified motorcyclists. He asked them to show their identity at which they let off a volley of bullets at him. He sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to local hospital but he died on the way.
