NANKANA SAHIB - AC Nabila Irfan booked shopkeepers for selling patrol and other essential items illegally. Reportedly, special price magistrate along with her staff booked shopkeepers Saleem and Lukman of Chandar Nagar for selling patrol illegally at their shops with out having any licence for the sale of patrol etc. M Ameen was booked for selling unhealthy beef while Chand, Ansar and Sajjad were arrested for fleecing consumers. Meanwhile shopkeepers Abduallah and Abdul Rasheed were fine Rs1000 each for selling substandard items. The Sadder Police have registered separate cases against the accused. CAR STOLEN: A car of a human rights organisation activist was stolen outside of the Motorway Training Centre, Sheikhupura. Rana Arshad, a member of HR International Organization, visited the site to undergo training test for a post of motorway junior officer. US support for gays raped: Gathering of gay people at the American Embassy was severely criticised by a large number of people. They included traders, religious, social personalities, journalist, students, politicians and lawyers. A great resentment was expressed against the US for patronising gay people in Pakistan.
