PESHAWAR - Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has directed the concern quarters to implement one passenger and one visitor rule at all international airports from July 06, aimed to avert sabotaging bid of miscreants after attack on airline at Bacha Khan International Airport.

In circular issued on Friday, the Civil Aviation Authority directed the Airport Security Forces to maintain strict disciplinary rules and not allow more than one visitor with the passengers. The directives have been issued in the wake of firing on Pakistan International Airline while landing on the airport. The attack on airline has claimed killing of a female passenger and injuring of two others flight steward. Soon after the incident several international airlines had cancelled their flights for Peshawar Airport.  Though Qatar Airways, PIA, Airarabia have resumed their services for Peshawar, however Saudi Airline has decided to resume services after four days. Likewise the Emirates Airline has also decided to keep its services suspended from Peshawar up to July 08.  After the attack army and police arrested hundred of suspected person and they have launched a comprehensive survey of the houses situated in the surrounding localities of Peshawar. It has been decided that the local will not be allowed to construct any apartment and houses without prior permission of the government.

Police have also contacted the political administration for crackdown against suspected persons and have claimed arrest of Taliban commander involved in the attack on PIA flight.
