LAHORE Nearly all the CNG stations of the City faced low pressure and at some places the gas was totally unavailable which resulted in long queues on Saturday. All Pakistan CNG Association claimed that the SNGPL was conducting unannounced holidays in CNG sector which was creating huge problems not only for gas users but thousands of daily commuters facing already least availability of urban transport at City roads. The SNGPL was not giving proper pressure to the pumps and converting gas to industry and rental power plants, the Associations Punjab Chapter Chairman Fayyaz Gillani told TheNation. He said that in their meeting with the SNGPL officials, they had raised the issue of low pressure but the problem of low pressure still continues, he added. Meanwhile, several CNG stations in different areas of the City including Garden Town, Model Town, Township, Wapda Town and Johar Town and at Ferozpur Road were facing the problem of low gas pressure and the gas was unavailable over 30 percent of them.
