PEF to benefit from international NGOs

LAHORE - Punjab Education Foundation Chairman Raja Anwar on Saturday said the Foundation would benefit from the technical collaboration with international NGOs working in the field of Child Rights so as to promote child-friendly schooling in about 2,500 partner schools across the Punjab. He expressed these views while talking to the two-member delegation Ms. Virginia Khan, Manager M&R and Syed Safdar Raza, Advocacy Officer of Plan Pakistan at his office on Saturday. Different programme heads of the PEF were also present on the occasion who briefed the delegation about child-friendly initiatives by the PEF. Raja told the delegation the Foundation was committed to promoting quality education in the poor and economically deprived families by promoting free educational facilities for deserving children.
