LONDON: Acting legend Al Pacino has revealed that he was offered the chance to play Han Solo in the Star Wars series - but turned it down due to his concerns over the script. Speaking during his show An Evening With Pacino, the Oscar winner admitted how close he came to landing the role which eventually went to Harrison Ford. ‘It was mine for the taking but I didn’t understand the script,’ he revealed while taking questions from the audience. The part was one of several high-profile roles which the Godfather star admitted to turning down during the show.–Metro
