Five special teams headed by SP (Investigations) Abbas Majeed Marwat have been constituted to arrest the accused allegedly involved in the assassination of JUP District General Secretary Daud Mustafai. Attock DPO Abdul Qadir Qamar said this while talking to newsmen here on Tuesday. He said that so for seven alleged criminals had been arrested while different hideouts were being raided to arrest the rest. He said that a special technical team headed by a DSP was also working on the case. The DPO said that Pind Sultani Police-Post In-Charge Sub-Inspector Nadir Khan and Constable Akram had been suspended and cases had also been registered against them. He said that the entire staff of Basal Police Station had also been replaced. He said that main accused of the incident would soon be arrested.Meanwhile a delegation of JUP Attock comprising of Shahzad Chishti, Muhammad Arif Bhatti and Allama Niaz Awan held a meeting with DPO in his office where the DPO assured them that the culprits will be arrested with in the given time.Edibles’ prices increased: The District Price Control Committee in a meeting held on Monday announced new prices of various commodities.The meeting was chaired by DCO Dr Farah Masood. As per the new price list, mutton price has been fixed at Rs450 per kg, beef at Rs240 per kg, milk at Rs50 per kg, yogurt at Rs55 per kg and bread at Rs 5. The meeting was also attended by TMA administrator Malik Khadim Jeelani, EDO Dr Shafiq, Manzoor Naz, Majlis Mufad-e-Aama leader Arif Janbaz Qazi and AC’s of all the tehsels of the district.
