Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi has said that some factors behind the LDA plaza fire incident have been revealed in the departmental inquiry report although the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team is probing the incident from different angles.

He said that responsibility would be fixed in light of the inquiry report and the persons found guilty therein would not be spared. He said help and assistance to the bereaved families was a humanitarian responsibility and Punjab government would continue to play its role in this regard. He said the provincial government would also bear the educational expenditure of the children of those who were killed in the tragedy.

He was speaking on the occasion of giving away cheques of financial assistance to the families of the victims of LDA Plaza fire at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, here Tuesday.–Staff Reporter
