Judicial work from 11 judges withdrawn

LAHORE  - The Lahore High Court on Wednesday withdrawn judicial work from 13 judicial officers posted in 11 districts of Punjab on charges of misuse of powers and misbehaviour with litigants.
The decision was taken in the light of recommendations by the Administration Committee headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial. In a letter issued on Wednesday, LHC Registrar Mehboob Qadir Shah directed district and sessions judges concerned to withdraw judicial work from the judicial officers.
These judges include M Anwar Ali, Civil Judge Narowal, Fayaz Ahmad Zaheer Senior Civil Judge Mianwali, Mujahid Abbas Sohail Civil Judge Mianwali, Kabir Ahmad Senior Civil Judge Hafizabad, Malik Riaz Ahmad Khokhar Additional District and Sessions Judge Layyah, Shahid Mahmood-I, Additional District and Sessions Judge Bahawalnagar, Muhammad Riaz Chopra Additional District and Sessions Judge Jhang, Mehboob Khan Additional District and Sessions Judge Rajanpur, Malik M Nawaz Samtiah Additional District and Sessions Judge Khanpur, M Shaukat Civil Judge RY Khan, Khwaja M Additional and Sessions Judge DG Khan, Haji Ahmad Additional District and Sessions Judge Multan and Shahid Mahmood-II Additional District and Sessions Judge Muzaffargarh.
