Meanwhile, the runway of Benazir Bhutto Islamabad International Airport would be closed on Monday due to operational reasons at specific hours, informed Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson yesterday.

She said that the runway would remain closed from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.

According to her, the CAA has already issued a NOTAM to all the airlines regarding subject closure of runway at BBIIAP. Airlines have made adjustment to their flight schedule accordingly. She said that the passengers might confirm their flights timing from their respective airlines before coming to the airport to avoid any inconvenience.

“CAA is at forefront in providing timely information and best airport services to the passengers,” she claimed.
