Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif stated on Tuesday that the caretaker government is responsible for load-shedding.

While talking to media persons outside the accountability court he repeated his previous claims that its tenure Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have added additional 10,000 Megawatts (MW) in the system.

He remarked, “There was no load-shedding when Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was in governance.”

He said that if PML-N comes into power again then they will form a national commission for accountability.

He added, "If we put our house in order, then everything will be in order." 

Moreover, he also spoke about the Lahore High Court verdict regarding the nomination papers of electoral candidates. He said, “How is it possible a single-member bench to dismiss a law like that?”

Then, a journalist replied by adding that the verdict was suspended by the Supreme Court.

He responded, "But that occurred afterward."

When asked about the controversy arose after Reham Khan's book, he remarked that when his political opponents can't find anything they leveled more false accusations.
