ISLAMABAD  -  Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the zeal and enthusiasm shown by the people in his public rallies make him believe that masses will help overturn the decision of his disqualification by overwhelmingly voting his party to power.

Addressing workers convention here in the suburbs of Federal Capital on Monday, Nawaz Sharif said that the people of Pakistan came out on his call for restoration of sanctity of vote and time of those who had been trampling the public mandate was over and now masses would avenge all those who played with the public will and mandate.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, former MNA form the area and organiser of the workers convention Anjum Aqeel Khan and other senior party leaders also spoke on the occasion.

Nawaz Sharif said that he was not out to get his party elected in the upcoming elections rather he was on roads to restore the respect of their mandate and establishment of true democratic order in the country, as according to him without making the will of people supreme the country could not move forward and progress.

Former prime minister and PML-N Quaid said that he was immensely encouraged to see the enthusiasm of people in the sizzling heat as they have thronged the place in thousands to listen to him and other party leaders.

He criticised his political opponents who have no agenda and were just busy in mudslinging and finding out flaws in the PML-N government which had executed record development projects in the country and brought it out from the monstrous darkness and added over 10,000 mega watts of power to the system.

But even now certain elements were out, who did not want to see the country’s march on road to progress and prosperity and were instrumental behind his ouster from power, and were creating artificial power shortage in the country only to defame and blame the PML-N government.

Terming his ouster a conspiracy against the people of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif said that people would avenge this highhandedness with them and vote PML-N back to power even with more majority so that the true democratic order as per the aspirations of people of Pakistan could be established in the country.

Nawaz Sharif said that they wanted to create jobs for educated youth wandering here and there for jobs and said that he has an elaborate programme for jobless youth and project for provision of free houses to homeless poor people.

He said that Shahbaz Sharif had launched record development projects in the province which had no parallel in the history while on the other hand Imran Khan had badly failed to deliver in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and all the claims they had made fell flat.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif in his address cautioned that any attempt to rig upcoming elections would see a strong reaction from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the former prime minister who had gone to Lahore from the Federal Capital could launch a return march on Islamabad with millions and millions of his supporters and voters.

Addressing the workers convention, she said that when the PML-N loins would roar in the upcoming elections no one could withstand their power.

She said that the popularity of Nawaz Sharif could be judged well from the fact that in his voters and supporters gathered here in around 50 degree temperature and that too the fasting month of Ramazan.

She said that the elements behind the ouster of Nawaz Sharif had used all coercive tactics, managed his ouster from the Prime Minister’s office and even dragged her daughter in the courts of laws in fake cases of corruption but they could not break the bond of love between the masses and their Quaid Nawaz Sharif.

She asked the party workers and activists to frustrate all the nefarious designs of the elements who did not want to see Nawaz Sharif in power by overwhelmingly voting for the PML-N candidates.

She said that Nawaz Sharif wanted to restore the sanctity of vote and civilian supremacy in the governmental affairs as enshrined in the constitution of Pakistan.
