LAHORE - Pakistan Wapda Employees Pegham Union has demanded the government to withdraw the proposed decision of privatization of Power Distribution Companies and other national institutions. Pakistan Wapda Employees Pegham Union central leaders including Yusuf Malik, Ehsan Ahmed Ch, Ch M Ajmal, Wahab Niazi, Tauqeer Islam, Amjad Hanif, Sheikh Hameed, Malik Rasheed, Yunus Zafar and Malik Zafar Alam said this while addressing a protesting rally held to condemn the proposed privatization's decision of Discos in front of Lahore Press Club here on Wednesday. They said that privatization of sensitive institutions of national importance has never been in the interest of the country. They announced that Pegham Union would start protest demonstration all over the country against privatization.
