ISLAMABAD - Senior leader of legal fraternity Hamid Khan Advocate Wednesday announced the schedule of lawyers' long march and sit-in at the Constitution Avenue on March 16. Revealing the details here at the National Conference for Restoration of Judiciary, Hamid said that the long march would begin simultaneously from Quetta and Karachi on March 12. The participants of the long march would reach Sukkur in the evening on March 12, while March 13 is the date of arrival of participants of long march in Multan. The participants would leave Multan on March 14 and reach Lahore in the evening. The marchers would leave for Rawalpindi on March 15 and reach Constitution Avenue from Rawalpindi Katchery via Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Road on March 16. The participants will stage an indefinite sit-in at Constitution Avenue till the restoration of deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. All Pakistan Coordination Council and Joint Steering Committee of Lawyers finalised the arrangements for the long march.
