BB murder case adjourned owing to lawyers’ strike


RAWALPINDI - A trial court on Monday adjourned the hearing in former premier Benazir Bhutto murdes case owing to lawyers’ strike against Karachi carnage.Anti-Terrorism Court Number 1 Special Judge Chaudhry Habib ur Rehman putt off the hearing in BB murder case till today (Tuesday) because of lawyers’ strike. The court was to record the statement of prosecution witness DHQ CMO Dr Muhammad Ashraf,who conducted external autopsies of 4 dead bodies and 7 injured of December 27,2007 incident.Rescue 1122 former officer Dr Abdul Rehman and firefighting official Ghulam Muhammad Naz, the prosecution witnesses, were also present in the court for cross examination.
