ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for Finance Senator Saleem H Mandviwalla has said that Pakistan offers attractive investment opportunities to foreign investors and the government is facilitating foreign investment in Pakistan with investor friendly policy.

All government institutions particularly Ministry of Finance have extended full co-operation to foreign investors and same policy will be continue in future also. Pakistan is on its way to economic recovery and the government will soon overcome all economic problems including the problem of circular debt. The Finance Minister expressed these views while talking to a delegation of General Electric Company who called on the Finance Minister in his office. Khozema Shipchandler, VP & CFO-General Electric and Sarim Shaeik, President & CEO, GE International Operations Company were part of the delegation.

The delegation of General Electric Company informed the Finance Minister that General Electric Company is investing in Pakistan with great confidence. General Electric Company is investing in variety of sectors including many energy projects in Pakistan. General Electric Company has full confidence in economic management in Pakistan, the Finance Minister was informed. The delegation thanked the Finance Minister for his patronage and support.
