SADIQABAD - PTI leader Rafiq Haider Leghari claimed that his party was working for bringing about people's revolution in the country under the leadership of Imran Khan, and as he expressed the hope would win the general elections across the country.

Talking to the media at Sadiqabad, he urged the people to elect the PTI candidates in the forthcoming general elections to eliminate from the country, commission mafia, grabbers' groups, corruption and loadshedding. He said that his party candidates from district Rahim Yar Khan would get a landslide victory in the upcoming elections, adding that the people had decided to get rid of the corrupt rulers. He observed that the PPP and the PML-N had failed to solve the people's problems.

He said that change had become inevitable in the country and the people from Khyber to Karachi were united under the leadership of Imran Khan and wanted early ouster of the rulers, people's rule and end to the corrupt system.

"The upcoming elections would result in a change in the country and those claimed to be very popular leaders would face a humiliating defeat. However, in the election results, the PTI would emerge as the biggest political power and will form governments at federal and provincial levels across the country," said Mr Leghari.

He said that the federal and provincial rulers were busy looting the national exchequer. On the other side, the people are leading a miserable life due to price hike, unemployment, loadshedding and lawlessness as well as the everyday price increase.

He expressed the hope if awarded the party ticket for NA-197 constituency, would win the election and serve the public indiscriminately. He added that basic facilities would be provided at the people's doorsteps and a key role would be played to end corruption, dearness and unemployment. He noted that from Chanigoth to Kot Sabzal, the PTI would field winnable candidates for the six National Assembly and 13 Punjab Assembly constituencies. He further said that soon the party leadership would make a decision and then announcement in this regard.
