PESHAWAR - Dozens of tribesmen hailing from Waziristan Agencies took out a protest rally against the ongoing US drone strikes, security forces military operations and lawlessness in tribal region, and asked the government to play it due role to ensure sustainable peace in the region.The protest rally organized by Jamiat Ulema Islam-Samiul Haq (JUI-S) to condemn the killing of innocent people in US drone attacks, military operations in Federally Administered Tribal Areas.The participants were holding placards and banners, marched to Governor House in Peshawar, and raised slogans against drone strikes and military operations.Talking to reporters, the JUI-S provincial Ameer, Yousaf Shah said a large number of innocent civilian, including women, children and aged, had been killed in the ongoing US secrete drone campaign in tribal region. “Rulers are receiving dictation from US government in implementing policies,” he alleged and urged the government to withdraw from war on terror.  Mualana Yousaf said it was prime responsibility of the government to protect live and property of the people, but failed in this regard. “No more drones attacks and killing of innocent tribal people, would be acceptable, and will strong resist against it”, he warned. Besides, JUI-S Vice President Mulana Hamid ul Haq Haqqani also lashed out at the PPP-led federal government in failing to evolve a strategy to get rid of external attacks in tribal belt. “Leaders are closed allies of US and receiving billions of dollars on the name to counter terrorism” he alleged and said the ruler had plundered national wealth instead to serve masses during the five years.
