SWABI - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders and workers from the whole Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would gather at Swabi Interchange for the ‘Save Judiciary Rally’ on Sunday and from here they would proceed in a big procession on motorway to Islamabad.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, PTI district president Sohail Khan and central leader Jehan Zeb Bahadar said it has been planned that the procession from all over the province would reach here at 11:00.
“We remain in contact with the district leaders and planned a well coordinated programme,” said Bahadar. “About 60 flying coaches would be preceded from Swabi.”
Once the processions reached the Interchange from the entire province then all the workers would reach to a selected place in Islamabad.
Later led by the party provincial President Asad Qaisar they would join the rally.
They said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been struggling for the supremacy of the judiciary and the rally in Islamabad would be a no confidence motion against the PPP rulers who failed to implement the Supreme Court verdict. They said that a convicted Prime Minister should leave his office and the rally is for the implementation of the apex court verdict. “We would never compromise on the supremacy of the judiciary and it one of the key parts of our party manifesto from the day first,” said Mr Sohail.
