JAKARTA  - A Dutchman set himself on fire next to the Dutch embassy in the Indonesian capital Jakarta on Friday and was hospitalised with serious burns, police said. The 69-year-old set himself alight on a side street and ran to the embassy entrance where security guards tried to extinguish the flames, South Jakarta police chief Imam Sugiarto told AFP. “He was taken to hospital and is suffering from serious burns. We don’t know what his motive was.” The Dutch embassy could not be immediately contacted.
