After eight-day long operation against the suspected gangsters, the normalcy returned to Lyari on Saturday as the government halted operation for 48 hours.

According to the details, the business activities were seen normal while the schools were also opened.

It should be mentioned here that most of the people were stranded in their houses without electricity, water and food supply during the operation.

On Friday, authorities decided to postpone the operation for 48-hours, saying a joint operation would be launched by police and the Rangers to arrest the culprits.

Sources said that Balochistan Governor Nawab Nadir Magsi played vital role in the cease fire.
