LAHORE - Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) has arranged a professional foreign coach Justin Fitzpatrick from Ireland for the training of Pakistan rugby team. On Friday, Fitzpatrick, after reaching the city, joined the national team camp which is in progress here at the Lahore Rugby ground.

PRU president Fawzi Khawaja and secretary Arif Saeed welcomed the coach and said the his presence will help boys in their preparation for upcoming Asian 5-Nation Tournament in Kuala Lumpur scheduled to be held in this month. Pakistan team will play their first game against India on May 31.

Fitzpatrick is a former Irish national player who played rugby for Ireland during 1998 to 2003 including a Rugby World Cup for Ireland.

He is currently working as Director of Rugby at Duncannon Rugby Football Club, Irish Women’s Scrum Coach at Irish Rugby Football Union, Head Coach at Duncannon Rugby Football Club, professional player at Ulster Rugby and Castres Olympique Rugby.
