HAFIZABAD – The CIA police have seized a heavy cashe of arms from a mini truck near Pindi Bhattian.

Addressing a press conference, District Police Officer Karamatullah said that the CIA police were tiped-off that an arms smuggler was carrying heavy contingent of arms to Faisalabad for supplying to proclaimed offenders also bearing a head money. DSP CIA Hafizabad, Sheikh Muhammad Arshad took immediate action and stopped a mini truck near village Bhajranwali and recovered 43 pistols, 7 pump action guns, 3 single bore guns, 2 7MM rifles, 2 guns 44 bores, 1 G. three rifles, 1 double bore gun, one 22 bore gun and 6,266 rounds of various bores. 

The police also arrested suspects Muhammad Yousaf, a residence of village Sahianwala district Faisalabad, he said. The DPO added that accused was supplying arms to proclaim offenders and criminals having head money all over the Punjab including Hafizabad. 

TEACHERS’S ROLE EMPHASISED: District Coordination Officer Muhammad Asif said that students are assists and future of the country and it is national responsibility of teachers to perform their duties honestly.

He was talking to teachers during his visit to Government High School Jurrian. Headmaster Khalid Javed, Rana Muhammad Arshad and other notables were also present. He said that the Punjab government was spending huge amount to promote education in the province and special incentives were being given to hard working teachers. He announced to award certificate to headmaster of the school on his extraordinary performance despite less available resources. Later, he visited the newly-established police chowki Hameedpura on Naushara Virkan Road and Vanni Road and assured that steps would be taken to early rehabilitation of the Road. He said that betterment of the masses and addressing of people’s problems was his to priority and all officers have been directed to adopt open door policy so that common men could reach to concerned officers easily to get relief.
