LAHORE- A petition has been filed at the Supreme Court Lahore Registry, seeking construction of Kalabagh Dam.
Petitioner Feroz Shah Gillani said Pakistan was going through serious electricity crisis and Kalabagh Dam could help overcome this crisis. It was further said in a petition that all objections on Kalabagh Dam were political in nature. He cited experts as saying that no province will be harmed after construction of the dam. He urged the court to issue directions for immediate construction of Kalabagh Dam.
