Two weeks for stores to discard substandard items

LAHORE - The Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority deciding to start a grand operation against illegal and unregistered companies directed super-stores  to remove their products. According to a spokesman, DG Adul Aleem Memon ordered officers to take stern action against companies which were not registered with the PSQCA and working illegally.  To which, CA-Lahore Zone has issued a final notice to  super-stores of the provincial capital, giving a dead-line of another two weeks to de-shelf products including cooking oil, ghee, toilet soap, tooth paste, shampoo, detergents, vinegar, butter, honey, jams, hair colour and skin creams of illegal and un-registered companies.The PSQCA team led by Deputy Director Asghar Ali and Yaseen Abdul Haleem visited different stores and identified illegal products besides serving notices.
