KARACHI Actone, Karachis most prestigious and oldest center for arts and wellness, recently entered a bid to become a part of the Guinness Book of World Records. In association with PSO, Actone is conducting one hundred flash mobs all over Karachi, says a press release. This is one of the most exciting propositions Actone has ever been involved in, said Hazan D, one of the founders and partners for Actone. Its a huge challenge and is extremely exciting and we are looking forward to seeing our names in the Guinness Book of World Records. A flashmob is simply put a dance performed by a group of individuals for the public or with the public. Recently the trend of flashmobs has increased in Karachi with such activities being conducted for the purposes of raising awareness or promoting a brand. The current series of flash mobs is being conducted by a team of 15 youngsters, boys and girls. This team of avid dancers is touring across Karachi doing flash mobs all the way from Lyari to Korangi to Zamzama, DHa and many other areas.
