KARACHI-  An office of the Chhipa Welfare Association in Karachi was robbed of Rs5 million on Wednesday by unidentified men who held Chhipa workers hostage for close to an hour.

The robbers allegedly spent 40 minutes in the office before making a good their escape. CCTV footage of the robbery shows ten people wearing helmets entering the Chhipa office, holding people hostage and looting the place, reported a private TV channel.

This is the second robbery that has taken place on a welfare association in Karachi within a span of a month, with the first one taking place on October 19 where millions of rupees were stolen from the office of the EdhiFoundation in Mithadar.
