Narowal- An Indian mortar shell exploded in a Narowal village on Tuesday, killing three children and injuring many others. Narowal's Pind Toghal Pur was devastated after the deadly accident.

Reportedly, the village children found the shell in an open field, brought it home, and began playing with it, the police said. According to sources, one of the children accidentally threw the shell on its fuse, causing it to detonate. The shell, which failed to explode upon landing, was fired by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) a couple a days earlier. Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has sought an immediate report from the government of Punjab over the Narowal tragedy.
