RAWALPINDI – Three-day inter-faculty girls Badminton Championship, organised by the Directorate of Sports concluded at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) gymnasium, here on yesterday. PMAS-AAUR Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Rai Niaz Ahmad was the chief guest at the final match and in the championship over 30 students participated in women’s singles, and doubles category. Eight teams of different faculties/directorates including Basic Sciences, Managements Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Information Technology, Economics, Forestry and Education. In women’s singles final, management sciences team defeated agriculture faculty team 21-19, 21-16 while in women’s doubles; Management team beat agriculture faculty team 21-17, 19-21-21-18.
