ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sardar Raza Khan has excused from holding meeting with PTI delegation led by Imran Khan.

According to sources, PTI leader Jahangir Tareen contacted Election Commission (EC) authorities and told them that Imran Khan along with PTI delegation wants to meet CEC to apprise him of polls irregularities in NA-122 and Local Bodies (LB) polls in Punjab and PTI reservations on the election. EC authorities have contacted Jahangir Tareen and informed him that CEC is engaged in different meetings and hearings today due to which he cannot meet Imran Khan.

CEC said Imran Khan should send in writing to election commission his reservations on rigging and irregularities in LB polls and by polls in NA-122. CEC has sent message to Imran Khan to set time for meeting on some other day. However no reply has been received from PTI in this respect.
