LAHORE: Punjab NAB yesterday claimed to have arrested a suspected swindler. Impersonating as ex-serviceman Saeed Khan Magsi swindled Rs15.38 million in the name of investment in education sector with 6-7% monthly profit.

Also, NAB arrested Maqsood Ahmed in Rs106.174 million fraud in the Punjab Small Industries Corporation. Eight persons are already in custody in the same case. The accused person Maqsood Ahmed, in connivance with others, prepared bogus list of pensioners and opened fake bank accounts to siphon off the money.–Staff Reporter

The two detainees will be produced in an accountability court today (Thursday) for obtaining physical remand.
