PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has issued contempt of court notice to PTI chairman Imran Khan for his absence from the court.

The court has restrained the respective Board of Directorate (BoD) from performing its functions till further order.

The court during previous hearing had ordered Imran Khan to appear before it today.

According to media reports health act case came up for hearing before the court today on the plea filed by paramedics’ staff. .

The court had directed Imran Khan to appear before it but he could not appear. Therefore, the court has issued contempt of court notice to him.

PMA has taken plea in its petition that health act case is subjudice in the court and Imran Khan is trying to influence the case through the media and threatening paramedics’ staff.
