Wah cantt - A colourful function of the 3rd Convocation of University of Wah was held in the auditorium of the university in which degrees and medals were distributed among the successful graduates.

Chairman POF Board and Board of Governors, Lt Gen Omar Mahmood Hayat, HI(M) was the chief guest on this occasion. Addressing on this occasion Lt Gen Omar said that it is a privilege and pleasure to be a part of this impressive convocation ceremony which marked the culmination of years of untiring and persistent efforts on the part of graduating students.

The chief guest felicitated all graduates and remarked that it is the beginning of a new exciting and challenging life for them. “You have been groomed by the university to face future challenges and the future of this nation depends upon you.

Remember, there is no shortcut to success. Hard work, commitment, adherence to the moral and ethical values and above all, faith in Almighty Allah is the key to success.”

He further added that research and development facilities of POF laboratories and state-of-the-art POF production units are at the disposal of the university for practical demonstration of theoretical concepts by the students.

Earlier, Vice Chancellor Dr Khaliq Ur Rehman Shad in his welcoming remarks thanked the Chairman POF Board for constant cooperation in the betterment of the infrastructure of the University of Wah.

He remarked that the educational standard of the University of Wah is not less than any university in the country. He stressed upon the students to reserve their lives for the betterment of country and nation.

The vice chancellor mentioned that the best results of the university indicate the hard work of the students, sincerity of faculty staff and contribution of parents.

He felicitated the successful students and their parents and expressed his best wishes for them. In the end, gold medals were distributed among the students who displayed their best performance in various faculties.

Muhammad Bilal and Huma Asghar were declared the best graduates and they were awarded gold medals.
