MIRPURKHAS - Hundreds of patients of asthma, allergy and respiratory problems are facing difficulties due to badly dust atmosphere and dry weather for the last some days.

A lot of patients are approaching government and private hospitals daily in this regard. The main cause of dust atmosphere in the city was the mostly destroyed roads and streets of the city as result dust was airing and creating problems for the above said patients in taking breaths.

It may be recalled that after 2011 flood, destroyed roads and streets were not constructed in the city owing to gross corruption in the funds of Municipal committee Mirpurkhas and in this connection various times, anti corruption establishment ACE Mirpurkhas circle teams carried out raids and taken away the necessary records of the funds and its misappropriation but no action was yet appeared against the involved culprits and they were still working at different posts.

Civil society, social and religious organizations have demanded the Sindh chief minister to take immediate notice and announce the special grant for construction of roads and streets of the city without any delay. On the other hand doctors told that large number of above diseases patients coming to get first aid and in the same situation of the dry weather and dusty atmosphere problems  remained continue till rainfall and changing of the weather.

Meanwhile, Municipal Committee Chairman Farooque Jameel Durrani along with vice chairman Fareed Ahmed and officers have visited the various areas of the city to examine the situation of drainage and sanitation of the city.

They reached at Hirabad, Rajar Colony, Mehmoodabad, Umerkot Road, Pak Colony, Hameed Pura Colony, etc while on this occassion chairman directed the concerned officers to ensure lifting of the garbage from the city premises and presence of the sanitation staff. He further asked to work hard with honesty and remove the complaints of the citizens on priority basis.
