LAHORE - The three-day International Neuro-Surgery Conference started yesterday with workshop for young surgeons at Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences.

The Pakistan Society of Neuro Surgeons has arranged the event with the collaboration of Department of Neuro Surgery, Lahore General Hospital. President PSNS Prof Anjum Habib Vohra chaired the event participated by experts of neurosurgery from the country as well as USA, KSA, UK and Japan.

 Professor of Neurosurgery Dr Khalid Mahmood, the chairman of organizing committee of the conference, said that the experts conducted training workshop comprising five sessions at the Skill Lab at newly-constructed Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences.

Prof Kavaya Ma of Japan has brought a modern fimulator machine with him to impart training of modern methods of neurosurgery, he said, adding that it would be a great opportunity to share experiences. Conference would continue till Sunday at a local hotel wherein participants would read their research articles.
