Man bludgeoned to death on way to court

HUJRA SHAH MUQEEM-Four suspects allegedly bludgeoned to death their rival on the way to a local court here the other day.
According to police sources, Muhammad Sarwar, resident of village Mauza Fatyana, along with his nephew Liaqat Ali, was on the way to a local court for the hearing of a criminal case on a bike. As they reached near Darbar Kalay Shah, four suspects identified as Sajid Ali, Ali Raza, Muhammad Zaman and Qamer Ali, residents village Fatyana, attacked them with clubs and iron rods. The suspects allegedly hit Sarwar in the head with the iron rods and kept on beating him until he breathed his last.
Later, the accused fled the scene.
Later, Liaqat Ali, who claimed to be the eye-witness of the incident, submitted an application Hujra Shah Muqeem for registration of a murder case against the four accused. According to police, they are investigating the incident from all aspects to ascertain whether or not it was a murder.

Youth, girl gunned down for 'honour'

TOBA TEK SINGH-A boy and a girl were allegedly shot dead by the father and uncle of the girl in chak 314/GB on Friday night for honour. According to the Chuttiana Police, in his application Rozi Khan, resident of Toba Tek Singh, informed that his son Sikandar went to Chak 314/GB on his motorcycle where accused Abdul Ghaffar and his brother Nisar Ahmad overpowered him.
He claimed that when he reached the house of accused Abdul Ghaffar in search of his deceased son, he spotted that his son Sikandar and accused Abdul Ghaffar's daughter Rimsha had been overpowered by the accused and his brother. He alleged that the accused gunned down his and the girl in front of him. The police have start raids for the arrest the both accused brothers.
