Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the newly constructed Head Marala Hydropower Project near Sialkot on Monday.

According to the spokesman for Chief Minister Office, the project, four billion rupees has been spent on this project and it has a total capacity of producing 7.64 MW electricity with four turbines of 1.9 megawatts capacity each.

This hydropower project will play a vital role in overcoming the electricity shortage in the province, he further added.
