LAHORE - Pakistan keep its hopes alive with a two-all draw with Malayisa in its second match of the 4-Nation Hamburg Masters Hockey Tournament in Hamburg (Germany) on Saturday. According to information received here Pakistan twice came from behind to level the score to share a point each in the event. Shakeel Abbasi and Haseem Khan netted one goal each. Malaysians were enjoying 1-0 lead at the breather. But Captain Abbasi equalize in 40th minute of the second period. Malaysians pulled one back against in 53rd minute. However ten minutes from the hooter, Haseem Khan gave his team sigh of relief with his third goal of the tournament. Pakistan team, however has to blame themselves as failed to convert any of their six short corners. Malaysian earlier also played draw with World and Olympic Champion Germany on day one. Pakistan will face Germany on Sunday and Malaysian take on Belgium.
