LAHORE - Pakistan Cricket Board chief selector Salahuddin Sallu has said that the PCB will announce the squad for Twenty20 quadrangular in Canada on October 6. Sallu said that the PCB would give final clearance as regards to Shoaib Akhtar today and if Shoaib clears the fitness test, he will be picked up for the squad. "We need to see the match fitness of the fast bowler and once the PCB settles with him that he is paying the penalty or whatever and get clearance then we would see him for selection," he added. Sallu said that if he was found match fit then he should be in the team but first his selection require clearance from the board and rest would be decided later. On Mohammad Yousuf's selection, he said that world class and there is no doubt about it. "He is nothing less but we have to see in which capacity he fits. He is a world class player in which format, we need to see that. The selection committee will sit and decide about his selection," he added. The Board is learnt to have chosen 20 odd players for the Canadian assignment, out of which 15 will be playing in the October 10-13 quadrangular tournament.
